INTRODUCTION

The International Journal of Open Educational Resources (IJOSE) is an e-journal, with free and open access, that focuses on research and practice in the use of open source software, interoperability standards, and free educational content.

IJOER provides an open, intellectual space for the expression of new ideas in thought and writing dedicated to closely explore how Open Educational Resources to be integrated with or even contrasted against the future of education. It is an international journal for practitioners and decision makers who have deep interest in the advancement, incisive debates or conflicts about the ‘Openness’ in education.

The journal is freely accessible by a worldwide audience. Nevertheless, it not only recognize academic research, but is committed to acknowledge input and contribution from various sources. Depending on the theme of the issue, the publications may include:

  • Research reports, case studies or articles.
  • Books, articles, products and services (including OS software and courseware) review or commentaries.
  • Research progress or on-going project descriptions.
  • Working papers, tutorials.

CALL FOR REVIEWERS

The Editors at IJOER kindly invite interested colleagues to join our International Board of Reviewers. Although priority will be given to academics with a background in the 'Open' field, we do consider distinguished applications from those who come with various other backgrounds as long as they are committed and highly motivated in understanding and advancing thought in the 'Open' issue. The average reviewing workload is two papers per year. If you are interested, do get in touch with the Editor by stating your qualifications, institutional affiliation, and area of research interests.
